Has anyone successfully beaten a traffic ticket for making an illegal turn? I live in Fulton County GA.?
Success in any jurisidiction would be helpful.

First you delay the case as long as possible
then you hope the cop does not show up?
Were all the signs posted correctly?
was it a place where everyone does it due to a problem?
Was the ticket issued properly, date etc.
Was more than one person ticketed (like a speed trap type of thing, indicating a problem that they are aware of and yet doing nothing about
Have gotten ready twice to defend myself with photos, etc
both time the cop didn't show up, nice but I was looking forward to playing lawyer
I've never done it, but if I ever get another traffic ticket I will… take it to court. It's worth a shot.
Chances are the cop won't show up to the hearing and if s/he doesn't, it automatically gets thrown out. Normally they only show up if you pissed them off, or if anyone got hurt.
Seriously, get real. It's a traffic ticket.
